moderate bmx jumps, a couple large jumps, gets dark early because of dense trees, rarely anyone there...
southbound on 101, go west on E. Capitol Expressway, park at the Denneys. If you get to Senter, you have gone too far. The jumps are next to the creek (opposite side from driving range) below bridge. Get on your bike, follow bike path under bridge, cross creek, double back under bridge, jumps are to the left.
Summary: This place is called the "Teacups" and it has lots of good jumps everywhere. They have not been maintained in a long time but there are still many lines. We're in the process of rebuilding so it will only get better.
Recommended Route: Go through the gate on capitol expressway, it's open.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Calabazas.....but they kinda ruined it.

Summary: I rode this trail once when I was about 10 years old. I got chased by members of the VPT (Varios Putos) gang, and never returned. As another reviewer pointed out, pack some heat.
In case you do get caught by the locals, I recommend riding this "trail" on a lowrider bicycle, preferrably with red accents on your person; do not wear anything blue, or you'll get "ganked" on site/sight.
Also, watch out for anyone named "Smiley" or "Lil' Puppet."
I gave this route a 5 for Technical Difficulty in the event you run into the locals. The amount of skilled riding you will have to do to escape would make Brian Lopes cringe with envy.
Recommended Route: Keep driving until you hit Almaden Expressway, head south and into Almaden-Quicksilver Park. There is no known gang activity here, except for rumors of some albino clan that burn crucifixes t night on the hillsides.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Santa Teresa County Park, Quicksilver Park, Henry Coe, Joseph D. Grant

Summary: This trail sounds like it's conected to Hellyer County Park. If it runs along the creek it is! It's a good but seldom used trail that hikers and bikers usually find dead bodies laying by the way side... Be careful and pack a .45 pistol with you. the good part is when you get to Hellyer Park there is a Velodrome there. The neighborhood sucks but it's a nice park! Have Fun!
