, from Angwin Summary: Gentlemen please remove your hats and bow your heads for one of the greatest mountain biking parks has passed and gone. The vally's thirst for wine and unquenchable need for more grapes has thrust a dagger into the hearts of mountain bikers who have ever ridden here. I rode through just to see the "progress" of the land and I almost cried. What was once a curvacious, wooded wonderland is now a graded and flat wasteland. I can't bear to look at it anymore. Next year they will be putting in vines for wine grapes. Angwin is one of the best applations for wine grapes, but that doesn't do a damn thing for mt. bikers. Recommended Route: You can come, but there isn't anything here to ride Other recommended trails in the same area: Other trails? Other trails? Like this one? I

, from Calistoga Summary: In short, this is a mountain bikers dream. It has endless miles of fireroads and mostly singletrack. It is unsurpassed in the forest beauty. One of the trails passes by a huge cliff called inspiration point. This is not a trail, rather a mountain biking park spread around in the forest. This is a damn good place to ride and everybody should come here at least once in their life. Recommended Route: start at Cold Springs road entrance, hit up the whoops, the jumps and the enless miles of sick ass singletrack. Other recommended trails in the same area: Oat hill mine trail. Suppossedly ANNADEL is good too.

All the wonderful single track will be gone by the end of the year Recommended Route: All the trials you can find.
