Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Lafayette Summary: This trail sucks. I dont know what gave him the idea to call it extreme. There is a 1-2 mile paved uphill to get there, then some mildly sloped fire roads going down building up to a whopping 1 short downhill. I've had more fun riding off of curbs. Recommended Route: Stay home. Go find some sidewalks to ride.

, from lafayette Summary: This trail is not even close to extreme there were no rocks, no drop-offs, no technical sections and 1 steep descent. dont waste your time on this, there are a lot of better, harder trails that are nearby. Recommended Route: past the hacienda, before the rheem school take a left up donald driveand the trail is near somewater towers near the top

, from Orinda Summary: This is some awesome single track downhilling. It is a short trail and not worth the drive if you don't live near it, but there are no hikers and plenty of steep single track sections and a cliff traverse. There are also some very difficult, expert-level switchbacks. Recommended Route: The directions have already been stated in previous reviews, but my favorite trail is when you take a right after the first downhill. Other recommended trails in the same area: For XC, the East-West Ridge in redwood park is awesome.
