Brand Park Loop
1 reviews
 1 of 5

Its an intermediate-novice ride up to the top of Brand Park fireroad. After you have reached the top-- at the "parkbench" ,resume riding EAST of the bench. Ride up the side of the giant antennas on the "Beaudry" fireroad, then ride down to the "Sunshine" fireroad until you see the dropoff. You can't miss it. Its a firebreak that can be seen from the freeway. Lower your seat, say a prayer and it will take you back down to the Brand Park fork. DON'T attempt going down the "singletrack" area of the dropoff, it's too tight and twisty for a bike. If you think you can't do the drop---don't try it, you won't make it then. Nothing's wrong with turning back and going down the way you came up. I still have the scars on my knee and elbow from the 1st time I went down the drop.
