Summary:
Not a "Destination" ride. Local park with primarily fire roads and easy single track. Also doubles as the local dog park. Works great for locals using it to just keep in shape (i.e. Me). Park works great for its intended purpose. Local open space for families and dogs.

Recommended Route:
All really quick loops. I typically just each a couple of times to keep the legs in shape after work. Would recommend avoiding the "No Leash" area if it's particullarly populated with canines.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Annadel SP, Skyline, Rockville. Those are more the destination areas.

Summary:
I'm going to start building some dirt jumps at Alston in the normal spot where they used to be. They aren't going to be little midget jumps either. I'm talking some decent-large jumps. It would be cool to get some help. Its a good spot, it just needs a lot of work to be good.

Recommended Route:
I'll be trying to build lines for all ability levels, even the little 6" jumps.

Once a month

Summary:
I think that it would be a good place if you had never ridden a bike because nothings technical and you cant do steep stuff. Extremely boring, joggers and dogs all over. Only out of shape people go to get exercise. Balloons all over. Waste of time.

Recommended Route:
I don't think it's worth it, very boring and full of dogs and joggers. Jumps all torn down. Waste of time, only good exercise.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Go to Skyline, Angwin, or just go to Palisades in Calistoga.

Summary:
I can't believe someone actually posted this park to ride at, but i guess you can. Lots of hikers, dogs, and horses, not many bikes. I only go there for excercise and because i live next to it. Otherwise, i'd suggest one of the many other fun places to ride in Napa

Recommended Route:
Ride the edge of the park around at race pace. It's a good workout, but not much fun.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Skyline Park
