A pretty good climb on a fire road, but there are several other animal trails that you can take once you've climbed the hills. There is a lot of was outs on the road so it makes it an interesting climb. Much of the area is part of Vandenberg Air Force Base, so ocassionally sections will be closed off, but are plenty of other sections to ride on. Have Fun.

Summary:
This trail is no longer open to cyclists. It has been bulldozed flat, and new signage from Santa Barbara county now state that there are no bicycles allowed. Hiking only. Also, access to the Vandenburg AFB side is offlimits to bicycles as well. RIP Point Sal.

Summary:
I submitted this trail to MTBR, but I also run this trail, it is 1.5 miles (one way) almost entirely uphill to a cattle crossing gate and it is about 2.1 to the Vandenberg AFB fence. It is a great run.
