Summary:
Great singletrack, awesome views. Plus, it is only 10 minutes from my house. A variety of other great trails in the surrounding area. Rangers were very helpful!

Recommended Route:
Park just before the locked gate. Begin at Wittenberg trail, level and easy. Ride past the Boy Scout camp. Trail continues and changes to Tuouski trail. Fun rollers and tight turns. It gets steep towards the top. Then you reach Duna Vista trail. Excellent views of the Oceano Dunes. Fast downhill till you reach fork in road, Two Waters Trail. Hang a right for a return to the Tuouski trail and back to the car.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Cougar Trail, Blackberry Trail, Bobcat Trail, High Ridge Trail

Summary:
There's a trail? I've been to Lopez Lake for the windsurfing...which has been a hit & miss in the last few years, but I decided to bring my bike for fun-insurance...just in case the wind wasn't going to cooperate during my stay. I found only one bike trail that makes it's way around the top portion of the lake, and it wasn't exactly the most exciting trail I discovered but it did have quite a view of the area. Before you start on the single track, you'll pass a boy scout camp. The fire road to the trail is fairly level, which would be nice for a family ride.

Recommended Route:
To Lopez Lake. 101 to Arroyo Grande exit. Head east and you're here in about 20 minutes.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
I recommend Camuesa Connector in Santa Barbara
