Keysville Classic

Average Rating:    (3.33 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 3

This is where the Keysville classic races are every year in the spring. There is a maze of trails in the area but Keysville classic is pretty well marked. The trail is quality in some areas and wide and torn up in others. The area is open to dirt bikes. Once you get in a ways the trail becomes single track with some good climbs and a great downhill section near the end. The trail is a loop. Other loops can be done. There is a sign board at the trail head that has a map, and sometimes maps you can take.

Summary:
Love to clime for the perfect downhill.

Recommended Route:
Local trails for me are in Turnbull canyon, there are many ways up and alternate routes down, always ending in my back yard.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Chino Hills, El Preado, Fullerton Loop

Summary:
Short steep downs. Sand. Short steep ups. Sand. Motorcycle-pounded 4-wide. Sand. Pretty section along the Kern. Motorcycles. Cow surprises. Sand.

Recommended Route:
Drive down to the bottom where the hiway crosses the river. Ride the Kern River trail/K. Classic up to the end of single track, then return. The upper sections suck.
