Jenks Lake Trail is a short double track/fire road that takes you from hwy 38 to Jenks Lake. The trail is littered with rock gardens, bumps, humps, and one creek crossing. The uphill part of the ride gets steep in the end. On the way down, there is at least 7 bumps that you can huck off of. This trail is a quick and fun trail and not to technical. Watch out for some hikers. I usually ride this trail on the weekdays there is not much foot traffic. I am not to sure about weekends though.

Recommended Route:
Take hwy 38 to the Barton Flats area. Coming from Redlands: You can find the trail parking 1 turn out past the Barton Flats Visitor center on the right. So when you see the visitor center look for a dirt turn out with a sign that reads Jenks lake Trail. You are there.

From the sign, take the road up, follow the arrows when the road forks. Ride around the lake(optional) then its all down hill from there!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Santa Anna River Trail, SART connectors, and Big Bear.
