Weaverville Basin Train System
1 reviews
 5 of 5

The Weaver Basin Trail System is a relatively new trail system put together by some hard working advocates. It consists of mostly single track that can be accessed from various points and is connected to some awesome flume trails and dirt access roads. Maps are available at the Forest Service Station on the North side of town.

Summary:
Grew up riding these trails. Miles and Miles of singletrack. New stuff going in every month. Some very technical and other weekend warriors. Hardpack, flowy and fast. Have fun. www.teambigfoot.net puts on a race there, the La Grange Classic in the fall.

Recommended Route:
You can go up east weaver and start pst the campground. Or another great way is to start at Trinity High school at the west end of town. Ride up Weaver Bally road past the only house and go down the fire road. You will end up going up a short climb and around a red gate. Ride down a 1/2 mile more and you will see the single track on the right of the road before another ascent. There are many ways to get to these trails once you get there. They are marked pretty well and you can make your own ride.
