Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: Start just west of the entrance to the Eldorado County Jail (300 Forni Rd.) easy and gravely until you reach an old rail bridge 80-100 ft. over weber creek. Crosses Mossouri Flat and gets a little more difficult between Eldorado and Shingle Springs Rd. I've only ridden the first 10-12 miles of the trail. I ride about 2-3 times a week and have never seen anyone else. It follows the old rail road tracks and gets fairly remote. Good scenery. Recommended Route: start at 300 Forni Rd. and go into Shingle Springs. I plan to ride the rest of the way into Latrobe soon. Other recommended trails in the same area: Sly Park, Cronin Park, Forest Hill, Fleming Meadows and Salmon Falls.
