Usually done as a loop this trail had an amazing two mile downhill. It has it all...tight switchbacks, jumps, a rock drop, narrow single track, great views, and a beautiful setting. This trail is best in summer and fall. Early spring can be fustrating with snow patches and downed trees. Ride options... 1 - Ride up the fire road for a couple miles then take a short single track to the top. 2 - Ride a 1 mile single track to the top (pretty steep) 3 - Ride the 2 mile trail out and back. This trail is near Just Outstanding (called Shirley Meadows on this site). We usually do both when we are in the area.

Trail Directions	Take 155 from Lake Isabella into Wofford Heights. 155 turns left (also called Evan's Road). Take 8 miles uphill (4k feet)to the top of the pass. At the pass turn left on Rancheria rd. Park on either side of the road near the FS station. The trail is about 100yrds from the 155/rancheria intersection. The fire road is between the trail head and the FS mobile. Follow it a couple miles unill you see a faint single track cutting back on the uphill side. Follow the single track to a large opening and bike push to the top of the hill on your left. From the top of the hill the best option is to go down the right. It is two miles of single track heaven. If you climb the single track you will encounter a fork about a few minutes up. If you go strait it is 2 miles to the top. If you cut right it is a shorter but steeper 1 mile to the top.

Summary:
This trail has the best section of single track in the area. Its short but soooo sweeeet.

Recommended Route:
Fire road to top, 2 mile single track back down. Then head up and ride Just-Outstanding.
