Latrobe Rd Trail
1 reviews
 5 of 5

Trail consists of paved and dirt roads which are some packed and loose rocks. Out and back. A good winter ride for all skill levels. Very suitable for beginners. I brought my friends there to introduce them to some non-puking induced riding and they loved it. Lots of rolling hills. You have 3 options to ride this mostly open dirt road. 1st from Miller Hill School parking lot take right to Stone House Rd. 2nd Miller Hill School take right then left on Michigan Bar Rd. 3rd Miller School right then take left on Stone House Rd,left Jackson Rd, then left on Michigan Bar Rd, and left on Consumnes River and back.

Trail Directions
From US 50 exit Eldorado Hills/ Latrobe Rd, go south and about 8 miles turn right to Miller Hill School. The road's name is not properly signed. Its the road opposite South Shingle Springs road. Drive up the little hill and park at the school's parking lot. Turn right to the paved road downhill. Local resident told me that they paved the road just a year ago so the dirt road starts about 2 miles from the school. The road will turn eventually on a loose gravel road uphill, a trailer house to the right starts downhill. BEWARE!!! There were 2 big black dogs near the property that chased 2 of my buddies... they looked very mean! I tried to distract them so my buddies can go through.
