, from Westwood, CA Summary: A heavy blowdown event in April 2003 left the south half of this trail well blocked by numerous trees. The north half is mostly open and in good condition. Cumming Springs is roughly the halfway point. Trail Lake is a beautiful mountain lake.
This trail was included in the Boxer Wilderness Bill for the sole purpose of closing it to bikes. More bikers need to ride this trail to demonstrate its importance to the mountain biking community. Recommended Route: I usually ride south to north, and follow the 10 Road back to the start for a total of 13.5 miles. Other recommended trails in the same area: Star Lake is south of this trail by a couple of miles. Star Lake is accessible by a 4WD road from the south or a short singletrack from the 10 road.
