Ridden Trail: Once a month

Downhiller Summary: There are four options to get to the top. Fire road / jeep trail, shuttle by truck on paved road, ride the paved way, or the one I dont recommend: riding up the trail. I like to ride up the road and thumb a lift. Sometimes you get lucky. If you ride the road it is a great warm up and a chance to ride next to your pal and talk.
The downhill is sweet. It starts as a single track on dry dirt and then turns to granite bouldering. you end up next to the creek and there is a lot of off camber next to a cliff with water at the bottom. TOTALLY RAD!! When Rescue 911 the show was still on this location was in an episode with some dude drowning. People hike the bottom alot so you have to be carefull.
If you take this trail at full speed like we do its a total rush. Pretty dangerous if you pedal on the way down! Its rock gardens rival anywhere in the states. The garden is FO REAL!! Recommended Route: Pedal up the road and bs with the guys.
Get to the top and put the DH gear on.
Keep it pedal to the medal and keep your health insurance handy.
Other recommended trails in the same area: 007, squaw leap, old downhill at the back of sky harbor road, bald mountain is the best if you want to have a day ride.

, from Fresno, CA Summary: I don't know the exact milege but this trail is fairly short. You should be able to hike it with your DH bike and come back down in 1.5 to 2 hours. On an xc bike you could shave half an hour. This trail is a blast. Not really fast but you pick up speed at times. The majority of the ride is over large rocks with some small to medium drops and some very interesting lines. Towards the end of the trail you can walk down to the creek to swim or relax. The trail is 100% singletrack with good shade cover so even in the worst fresno heat it really isn't too bad. One of my favorites. Recommended Route: Shuttle up Road or hike the trail. Just watch out for the downhill traffic as they will be moving fast Other recommended trails in the same area: 007, Goat Mountain, Lewis Creek

, from Oakhurst Ca. Summary: I am the new guy on the ridged frame so all trails are really big fun to me. Its listed as advanced and technical here localy. There were a couple of jumps and one big log jump. Tight tech. rocky turns and so on. I did it on a ridged Giant so full suspension bikes would love it The rock faces are slppery so dont try your luck My buddy almost sailed on down. If you have a low fear factor dont ride it. Recommended Route: take the ride up the road and ride the trail down. We tried to ride up the trail and had to carry the bikes on some spots. Other recommended trails in the same area: 007 for sure
