, from Bako Summary: Fast and rocky. You can ride the walls but watch for rocks. A few days after a rain strom it gets really fast. In the summer it gets sandy. The Fat Tire Asso. will clean the rocks out before a race so if you ride it after a race it'll be very fast. Watch for rattlesnakes in the spring and summer. A fun trail! Recommended Route: I usually park at the KCSO shooting range and finish the ride through Toads. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lots of trails...just explore.

, from Bakersfield, Ca now in Las Vegas, Nv, USA Summary: Used to ride this trail atleast once a week if not more.Haven't been back to Baketown since 98. It was a decent trail, but it was getting alot of use and the best parts were getting worn down. Definitly intermediate skill level, not very technical, just fast and tight once you dropped into the ravine. Don't even need a FS bike for it. Used to fly down it on a hardtail. Advanced toads(son of toads??) was a much better trail. Recommended Route: Start your ride at the elementary school, that way you can drop into toads from the top. Other recommended trails in the same area: Son of Toads, Coyote Canyon, Sidewinder

, from 3R Summary: Very nice area. Lots to do if your a freerider/downhiller. Nothing for XC guys. Take anyone of the canyon trails down for some speeeedy fun. Go to the playground if you want to jump and do some drops. The DH races here in the winter/fall are always fun! Recommended Route: You can get there a million different ways. They all go to the same place. Other recommended trails in the same area: Keysville area

, from Fresno Summary: This ride is sweet, alot like a rollercoaster the way you can rail down this canyon. Some very nice freeriding here! But NO trees, but then again its Bakersfield the armpit of California!! Recommended Route: Ride the road not the trail up....or you will die!! Other recommended trails in the same area: Go up to the Sierras and ride the best singletrack in the state, with trees!
