Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Homeland CA Summary: I must disagree with others. There is some trash dumping, but there are still some beautiful vistas. The air quality is some of the nicest in the IE and there are some awesome trails.I've been riding these trails for 7 years. Some of the trails stay in decent shape year 'round. At the very end of the main dirt road, there is a 1.3 mile DH that has some nice technical sections and a few good rock drops. This a trail that varies from high speed doubletrack sections, to a gnarly rock garden and rutted, tight stuff and ends up with some technical rocky drops! The trail ends up at the bottom on the original dirt road (Briggs). All you need to do is look, there are trails everywhere. as Robert said there are some really tight technical trails toward the northwest near the SCTA staging area. I sometimes go skidding down the huge flat rocks! In fact I almost lost it last week and left a thin black line from locking it up on a huge rock. This is a fun place. Scott. Hope to see ya. Im on the blue and red Jamis Dakar. Good riding> Recommended Route: Straight up Briggs, continue up fireroad to the left stay on main dirt road till sandy flats. Numerous trails in all directions. Other recommended trails in the same area: Juniper Flats.

, from Nuevo Ca Summary: these trails have no maintanance what so ever, are multiple use and vary depending on the time of year. Summers are super loose and sandy, winter @ spring best time. Theyre ok because its my backyard. Not worth driving to. Intermideate skill level w lots of climbing. Also lots of rubbish as these hills are dumping grounds for local low lifes. 0 natural beauty factor. good training rides to stay in shape so youre fit enough to go ride some place else. Recommended Route: same as given
