Summary:
There are sooo many singletrack trails in this area with some technical portions and some slightly difficult climbs.

Recommended Route:
Once in Idyllwild take tollgate road to the end where you come to a juction (Hub) there are so many trails but bassicaly go down slowly on one of the fire roads and watch for cars and singletrack and after just climb up back on the fireroad to the hub.

Summary:
This a small maze of twisting singletrack crossing over and connecting to several different fire roads. The local bike club is constantly making new sections. They deserve a big thanks. There is plenty of canopied sections with shade. Some of the climbs are very steep, but most aren't too long. These trails aren't suited for downhill/freeriders because they are very twisting and don't have any high speed sections. It gets hot in the summer, so ride early or late. Be careful on these trails because you never know what is around the enless twisting corners. Please don't drag your brakes on the corners. I'm seeing more of this on these pure trails. If you want to slide out, do it on a fireroad or go to a rookie riding school.

Recommended Route:
Read other reviews. Make sure you have a stupid f***ing fascist Forest Adventure Pass if you park on the dirt. Fortunately, my house is a couple of yards before the trail at the Strawberry Creek crossing. Don't park there, I have rabid squirrels.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
24 hour loop at Hurkey Creek.

Summary:
This network of trails is sweet! Trails are shooting off all over the place!! You do have to watch out for oncoming bikes however this secret stash is not to crowded yet. The trailheads off the fire roads are hard to find so you really have to look for and follow tracks to find your way around but once you find the loops its awesome!!! Good Luck!!

Recommended Route:
Take Toll Gate Road West of Idyllwild till it turns to dirt(Known as the Hub)and park. Take the fire road that heads directly down and West about 1/4 and look for a single track off to the right!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
There are lots of fire roads around that you can pretty much ride until your legs fall off if you want to do some big loops like 5 to 6 hours.

Summary:
These trails were designed for bikes, short climbs, long singletrack descents. and lotsa of shade !!
dont want to try this betwwen july and september unless you go early or niteride, it gets toasty...

Recommended Route:
Take somebody that knows the trail really well, or you will be sorry....Most of trails are designed for oneway use, with the fireroads as the climbing back out part of it....

Other recommended trails in the same area:
due to the obscured trailheads, it is difficult without a guide or an overall idea of how the network
