I can't believe the hicks in Sonora haven't promoted this area more.
Back in The Day I was riding these trails with a fully rigid Bontrager and loved them.
The views are awsome and the singletrack just beats you up.
One guy I took out there kept begging for the climbs because the downhills were killin him!

Nice ride thru the Stanislaus Forest ranging from fire roads to single track (Advanced). Long climb out of the Stanislaus middle fork at the end. Recommended Route:
Either stop by the local bike shop (JT cycles) or by the Mi-Wok Ranger station and get a OHV map. Other recommended trails in the same area:
pinball, crandell peak, lyons lake.
