, from Patterson Summary: It's all right, been there once. It's too far to drive an not enough trail to justify the drive to go back. It's technical but not in a way that flows like a really good trail should. If you're nearby you might as well hit it. I may go back one day if the amount of singletrack increases. Recommended Route: Hmm.. Take the side loops

, from Pine Grove, CA Summary: This route has plenty of challenges and can appeal to intermediate and advanced riders as well. This is not for beginners. There are many dangerous sharp rock outcroppings. When you come to the end of the maintained trail you can continue cross country for about a mile. It is beautiful and you will probably see a coyote! The trail is well maintained so be sure and thank the Forest Service. Recommended Route: The recommended lake route.

, from Sierraville Summary: There are lots of new trails and the whole thing is different, now that the whole thing burned (twice) during the summer. It's really cool to see how the whole thing is laid out. Great low elevation for winter rides and drains quickly after rains. Recommended Route: same as above Other recommended trails in the same area: Was just at Glory Hole yesterday - lots of new trails there too. It's novice stuff but should be added to the rotation for winter rides. Funny, there were two dorks there shuttling the switchbacks. Wa?

, from Angels Camp Summary: The SCAAb people have done a great job to make this trail interesting and challenging and they aren't done yet. A nice combination of speed and technical stuff. Recommended Route: It's out & back with side trails that tie back into the main trail. Hit the high trails on the way out and take the low singletrack on the way back. Other recommended trails in the same area: Glory Hole, but there's world of difference, I take my wife to Glory Hole. Mine Trail, if you're looking for exteme stuff. Red Hills and Shell Road, watch for these additions to this website.
