Rockwheelers Townsville

Average Rating:    (4 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 1

Well constructed tight technical single track on the side of a very steep hill. Lots of climbing and tight switch backs ascents and descents. Separate XC and Downhill course. Very challenging for the novice, a hard ride and a hoot for the intermediate and expert. Club permission and insurance required.

Summary:
XC course, is well built technical single track with several short hard climbs followed by rewarding single descents complete with sweet switchbacks and woop de do creek crossings. A difficult challenge for the novice, a fun challenge for the intermediate and a real hoot for the expert. A 20min lap for the expert at race pace.
The downhill course is not for the faint hearted. A very technical course with some mega jumps and drop offs. 6min run for the expert.

Recommended Route:
From the carpark take the XC course in a anticlockwise direction. For the downhill make your way to the top via the access track and then let her go!
