, from Al-Sidiqi Summary: Very good trail, but too hot to ride. I drove it in my Hummer with my bike in the back and really enjoyed it. I give the trail bad review because I hit old man's camel on the way back and his family started shooting. Next time I bring a bodyguard. Recommended Route: Drive past camels and soldiers. Don't let soldiers see your bike in car.

, from san diego, ca Summary: There is only one bike shop in Bahrain, in the mall (again cant recall the name). Its more of a sporting goods/bike store. I was talking to a local Ex-Pat who mountain biked. He set up an actual MTB race in the desert but it was shut down by the local asshole government because "if the Bahraini's did'nt have a chance at winning, they would'nt allow the event to take place". If your stuck out there, good luck 'till you get home. Recommended Route: as stated, drive past the auto wrecking yards and past the camel herds. there is a hill (cant remember the name) that is the highest point in Bahrain that can be climbed also. Oh yeah, this is the desert so dont ride in the summer.
