The trail is a rutted dirt road which circles the entire installtion. It is heavily patrolled by armored vehicles, which have the right of way, and you will be stopped and required to present identification at least three times during one 40 km loop. There is absolutely no climbing or hills as a matter of fact, just rutted dirt road. If you venture of the trail you'll likely hit a unexploded ordinance or venture into a mine field so sticking to the road is high advised. The trail is unrideable during the rainy season when it will be 12 inches of gummy mud. I suggest you ride at sunrise because the temp rapidly passes 100 degree after 8 AM. Add in the sand flies, rabid dogs, and possiblility of being kidnapped and having your head cut off this is a great ride !!!
