Summary:
This is an intermediate level rocky jeep trail that winds up the side of a mountain.
Trail starts muddy because of the drainage, but just keep riding because as you get higher the mud diminishes and the vistas just keep getting better. On the way down the humps they've put in for drainage turn into ramps for practicing your jumps. This is a blast because they come about every 50 meters and your so high up when you fly around the turns there is some illusion of danger. 4 stars just for the vistas backdown on Monterrey.

Recommended Route:
From Texas take 85 South from Laredo South til you get to Monterrey go right at the river after going thru town and go about 3 miles and stop in a Pemex gas station and say: "donde es Chipenque"

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Huasteca canyon: a dry rocky riverbed.
