From Avenida Occidental, head south from the El Bosque mall until you get to a road heading off to your right (west) opposite the turnoff that goes east down Ave. Maosca. Head up the hill, do a couple zigzags until there is a large apartment building on your left. At this point, you can either go left after the building or straight, to two different ends of the trail that merge about 2 km up.
