The trail starts with a stiff climb for about 40 minutes, then either a simple gravel road down or a serious single track down hill.Magnificent forest and views!

Summary:
Excellent - the better you get the more you enjoy it. About an hour up and down or 40 min up and about 17 down.

Recommended Route:
Take road all the way up to tar section then another 400m on the left through the gate (open)there is a single track down hill start. The first part is a bit harde with a series of 180 degree switchbacks which are quire hard to negotiate without dabbing feet. Then at small fork take right path which is 30 cm wide with 60 ft cliff to the left (no vertigo here) then carry on until you get back on forest road. Then about 400 metres along on the left there is a singletrack drop off. This is the best part of the trail as there are sweeping bermed corners with log drop offs and technical sections. This will a few times cross the path/ road that you rode up. When there isnt a trail opposite (3 or 4 road crossing I think) then head right on road taking higher fork when you see it and on for 400m then left again down singletrack to car park (eventually)
