The rollercoaster route

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

This trail is indicated with red rings around posts. The trail begins with about a mile of fire road, then turns off onto a steep technical section of singletrack. The rest of the trail is like this, alternating between easy fireroad and technical singletrack. As the name suggests it is a very 'up and downy' trail, cresting over the hilltops and plunging down again into the river valleys. The trail is very muddy in winter, particularly around the river crossings, but is all the more fun for it.Watch out for gypsies living in clearings in the forest,as they are often in ownership of particularly near-rabid dogs! All in all this trail gives an excellent tour of the Brechfa forest.
