Summary:
The trail is a downhill ride suited for strong frames. Large bumps and jumps, so the longer your travel in the suspension the better. A great veiw from the top ( if you take your eyes off the trail. For most of the time, the trail is wide allowing you to choose your path down, and what jumps to take. Overall, a good steep downhill trail.

Recommended Route:
Trail is actually down Douglas Hill that lies behind largs. Everyone in the area knows the hill, so just ask for directions from the town centre. At the bottom of the hill is Douglas park. Basically, get your bike to the top, from the top left of the steps and follow the trail round and down a small valley. From there its obvious, just make sure your brakes work in case someone walking thier dog pops up . . .as they did for me

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Try getting to the top of Knock Hill . . . the other hill next to Largs . . . there is no trail.
