, from uk Summary: start at settle and take the road that climbs up to stockdale lane. ride up the bridleway [youre a star if you can]. then follow the track to the downhill blast down to the road that takes you down into malham. turn left, away from malham, at said road and after 1/4 mile turn left at the first cattle grid, thru the gate and follow your nose [or your map] back to settle. it gets very boggy in winter so watch out for the swamp monsters [4x4's]. Recommended Route: lots Other recommended trails in the same area: get an OS map [western dales] and you can ride for days up here. top trails!!!!

, from st helens Summary: A good route that can be built into a loop by climbing up to the tarn on road before choosing one of the bridleways back to Settle. Watch ot for wet limestone, and after the track levels out before dropping to malham look out for the small drop offs- I stupidly came off here once because I wasn't looking where I wa going Recommended Route: Get out the OS map and follow the obvious bridleway between settle and Malham Other recommended trails in the same area: Most bridleways offer decent riding
