Summary:
"No Brains" is a hill, thats it just a hill, i wouldnt call it steep although it is big so you can pick up a little speed. The entry to no brains has worn over the years and its dug in - the hardest part of "no brains" its to enter it without hitting your pedals. we usually just hop in off the top although its not something we go to often as its literally not worth the walk back up. If your not a serious rider and just out for some fun you could have a laugh on this but for any serious rider you will be greatly unimpressed if you go to delamere just wanting to hit "no brains"

Recommended Route:
In car comming from the visitors centre head down ashton road till you get to the 2nd to last layby on your left, theres usually cars there. You will know its correct when you get there - next to the green gate theres a white saying saying bike skills area. head up that path an you will see a sign for no brains on your left.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Although "no brains" isnt the best and its way over hyped there is some really good riding not far from it. About 10 foot to the left of the entry to no brains is what most people call "skill hill" this is very steep and should only be attempted on a well serviced bike with good brakes. Carrying on to the left of no brains past skill hill is the dual track, theres 2 routes down (dual) with berms and jumps - watch out the jump at the bottom can get boggy.

At the bottom of the dual track to the left of it is the best track at delamere "badgers" theres a few line choices, its flowy, fast has jumps and the best your gonna find in delamere. There is another section further round called manley hill this isnt really trails as such just a few very short runs going down a small hill side with a a few features.

Summary:
If you go down no brains and continue on the wide track you come to a table top, and down that valley side are a load of drops and tracks. Then, if you look straight across after going down this valley you see the best part (over the little stream)! Its full of berms, rythmns, drops, tracks etc........ Its heaven!

Recommended Route:
No Brains is actually just one of the things at Dealmere. No Brains is just this one steep run which is for hardcore people, no jumps on nobrains.

er...... for your information, no brains is not a generic term for the jump spot at delamere! No brains is the big chute there!

Summary:
NO BRAINS consists of multiple short downhill sections and singletrack, aswell as having numerous ryhthm sections and big jumps!
How any rider can call this trail average is an insult to their own riding.their is a variety of trails to accomodate all riders, but credit goes to those who can ride the big stuff on offer!
A great place to test yourself and your bike.
