Ridden Trail:
Once a year

Summary:
I rode this last year in the Dragon downhill in October. The drive from the main road is about 8 miles on a narrow single track. This was the scariest downhill I have ever been on.And it was my first race ever... From the top it is deeply rutted, deepish mud and slick. Then drops down very steep. The only way to ride this is FAST!. If you decide to ride this, then go when it is reasonably dry, or you will have no traction at all.Insane roots and dropoffs over fire roads.Dont ride if at all inexperienced or unfit or have an unsuitable bike. I had a downhill rig and even that was pushed to the limit!! Go to the Dragon site for video footage and maps. www.dragondownhill.co.uk.

Recommended Route:
Down,carefully and quickly...

Ridden Once

Summary:
Well-built trail, but completely insane. The middle section just before the log-jumps is stupidly steep, as is the top section through the trees. If you think you're good, ride this trail to be humbled. It's a proper DH course and such requires big balls - respect to the guys who cane it down here. Only downside is it doesn't have much grin-factor, mainly due to the fact that it's such a steep walk up.

Recommended Route:
Down

The Rheola Dragon Downhill course near Swansea is a much longer, faster and free-flowing, yet still difficult. Check it out.
