Follow tracks / west highland way round up to country park visitor centre, then over moor toward Strathblane. Loop back up to visitor centre then round past castle and resevoir toward where car parked.

Go to McDonald in Milngavie then on to mini round about. Go straight on at round about past police station. Take left at traffic lights then straight on at next lights. Car park is on right, trail starts over iron bridge.

This trail is mainly excellent technical stuff but has some reasonably fast stuff as well. Finding the way can be tricky as there are loads of paths and the route isn't marked but is you follow the route described roughly you won't go wrong. There are several sections with lots of damp roots and rocks that are tricky.

Recommended Route:
If you have done it a couple of times try it in the dark in winter with some high power lights - wicked!!!
