Summary:
I was taught a lesson here. I got lost first walking round and round, same later, weeks later. on a motorcycle. Somewhere here was a military run house where I was brainwashed, and I guess others will be interrogated there. They kept trained alsatians and the field fence gates facing a large open field or two came off at the hinged end whilst the usual fitting was well locked..a sort of initiative test. It is called Monarch Programming. If you see any single people wandering around confused and lost, offer them some water from your supplies. http://www.bhmversusmengele.tumblr.com explains it best. I lost my bag in the woods and five weeks later found it again so I am not a complete idiot. My watch, though, someone beat me to it I am pretty sure I found the tree I had ben talking to, but someone must have seen it and swiped it.

Recommended Route:
Sadly I ended up hour after hour going round the same sort of route. It was dark when the Police picked me up on the M271, having walked through routes that exist for the public's convenience and hopping a few fences too. I used to be a member of the (bicycle) RoughStuff Fellowship, but Lordswood and whatever the drug used if any and on a hot day without water left me disadvantaged. Ay least afterwards they named Timoxylene Barbabutanol after me in the film "Johnny English reborn" for holding out for a record time. Sadly I never saw my own performance so it probably is so cringeworthy I should quietly die and not suggest others might learn from this circuitous torment. On foot concentrates the mind, a motorcycle is too easy a bicycle is the compromise that might have changed my rating.

The New Forest is a few miles away, and a Brockenhurst dealer offers guidance.
Join the RSF (above) or the CTC, or ask your bike dealer for clubs/routes. Some of my most memorable rides were with the Wessex Moultoneers..suspensded small wheels making any trip way more interesting in mud, sand, or ruts!

Summary:
Great, smooth jumps, nice bombhole, great trails, if a bit short. Plenty of areas, just explore. Beefy step-down, new sites under construction. ONE PROBLEM. Townie bastards. The little assholes come in on mopeds and stolen motorbikes and tear the jumps and trails up. Most carry weapons, hang around in groups and most wanna take your bike. If you smell two stroke, hear little kids screeching and tryin to change gear on their shitey scooters, grab your bags and hold on to your bike... Otherwise, this place is soooo sweet. Shame these asses ruin it.

Recommended Route:
Go through the sports center on its main path, turn up the long hill opposite the astroturf pitches, and keep goin up to the end of it. Turn right after the gate and carry on up the gravel track past the gas works. Turn left into the first trails and go from there.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Sports center is a great play area, just look for banks and drops and you'll have fun!!!

Summary:
This place is great I (attempt) to jump there and ride some of the trails. It does get a bit sandy in the summer (this does break your fall i suppose).

Recommended Route:
Go through sports centre, turn left at hockey pitches up concrete path between football pitches, then turn left at the top, down the road but keep going past the gravel hill till you come to a power station thing then turn left down a short trail and your there! Go explore

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Winchester
