Trail Directions	Past Rothbury to park at Alnwinton. Then goup the Alwin past Clennel. Head head through Kidland to Whiteburnshank, up a really steep hill and join Clennel street right to the border ridge. Up the top of Windy Gyle and back down a long descent to Trows and Rowhope. Back up to Fairhaugh now and now the Usway along some wicked single track to Shillmoor. Go to the left of the Coquet and up Path Peth and back to Alwinton. Nearly no road and no people.

Summary:
I have never actually ridden the route mentioned.But have done a few in the same area.Get yourself a map of this area you won't be disapointed i promise you...I can reccomend the descent of Windy Gyle though.It's a little rough at the top then it turns into a lovely smooth grassy blast.Just forget about those brakes and enjoy it..

Just get the map and go explore the wonderfull Cheviot Hills!!
