Reviewed by: COLIN LIST , Cross Country Rider Summary: I have been riding around here since the mid 70's,the best trail is all the way left from the top and back up the lefthand side,as stated there is lots more around here,but i can't say that i know a DH trail ! Reviewed by: markyyy , Cross Country Rider Summary: The single track around here is really great once you find a nice route you can follow down theough the woods. Too many dog walkers on weekends though. Recommended Route: go right to the top of the woods past top car park,aand follow trail down left of woods and across road then right past lower pond and down. then out of there and into hqayes common. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hayes common, a couple of good bridle paths near by. shirly hills a few miles away. Would you like to Comment? Reviewed by: Scott , from Beckenham Summary: There are lots of tracks in the woods around the Ponds so you can do different circuits.Once you get down to the big Pond at the bottom of the hill cross the road for X/C with tight tracks, streams and more jumps. Recommended Route: Start at the top of Fishponds Road. Graually work your way downhill lots of jumps on the way down. Other recommended trails in the same area: Try Hayes common lots of X/C there are 3 huge commons that are all linked by main roads on 1 of them there is an old bomb crater where the local kids have made some really daunting looking jumps.
