Summary:
Hopton castle is one of the many NPS tracks used in Shropshire,it's also one of the toughest! its fair to say from the car park its fair way to the top of the downhill track. When you follow the track up theres a hill signposted "downhill " theres several tracks to take from the top, the main run is marked on the posts. From the top you gain a good speed but beware from there on its a bike and body beater! its well dug out of camber roots, tight berms and not much time or room to pedal!
The lower section is wicked, sharp turns and more routes, and not easy to see through the trees, a fast bank into a berm sends you flyin over a big drop into the last part, great fun. But beware its a long way back to the top, and even further from the car park!!!!! Try and find a day when the farmers got his tractor lift system workin!

Recommended Route:
follow above directions, but dont be suprised when your drivin across a couple of fields, you are goin the right way!
