Downhiller Summary: I'm 13 and I live about 5mins away from the heart of Eastridge and love the downhill tracks up there! There are loads of cool tracks, some a little too tricky for me and my mates on hardtails but there's a brilliant range of technical tracks, fast and flowing tracks and some great obstacles amongst them! Recommended Route: Start up at the rocky plateau up in the woods,go around the left corner and head down the steep downhill section, picking out your own route around all the rocks and roots. Towards the top on the left hand side there is a 3-4ft drop off with a rocky landing great for full-sussers not that great for hardtails! After a couple of mins there is a track/lane. You can either cross straight over for more downhilling or head left then right, down another faster route including several berms, drop offs and a fallen tree jump. The two tracks come out at the same spot.Head left to get back onto the main track/lane. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hopton Castle is supposed to be good but I've never ridden there so I'm not sure!

, from nr. c.stretton Summary: the top is really rooty(not hardtail country, I almost went mad), almost flat (some uphill bits?)but when the trail splits theres a cool 3ft pit jump and if you go left you can find a sick jump, and if you go right then its just cool steep singletrack to a jump and a stream crossing. then u go over the fire road and down and theres some more singletrack and then this little shed thing and a jump. then's the weird bit cos the trail just stops at the end of the lake!!! overall pretty cool just a bit weird at the end, but theres potential for pro riders here, very good for technical at top. oh and don't ride it in winter, or you'll cock up Recommended Route: Go to the rostrum at the top, and make ur way DOWN. then the trail splits up after like 4 mins and take either, they both finish the same Other recommended trails in the same area: nantmawr quarry (jumps/dual course/downhill); hopton (wicked downhill); bringewood (DH); cannock chase (jumps/DH),etc.etc. use ur imagination - plenty of quarries around

, from cardiff Summary: After leaving the rostrum follow the track till it splits take the left hand fork, (Which is less demanding than the right), follow this till you hit the first fire break again keep left. Follow this through the wood till you hit the next major track. You are then faced with two choices either head right, this takes you back to the car park at the bottom. Otherwise head left, follow the track for a few hundred yards, You will see a steep track heading of to the right follow that on to the lower track and turn right this then takes you back to the car park.. This is a fast track with less dangers than the right hand track from the top. Recommended Route: Start at the rostrum on the top of the hill and stay left.
