Summary:
What u wanna do is find the main road (i think it is called ashworth road) that bisects the forest and park on there cos it is nearer to the jumps. Get a map or have a look in the visitor centre to find your way. Once at the jump spot there are some nice 3-5ft drop offs onto slopes with nice berms. In the other area (ask somone) there are 2 sets of about 20 doubles that start small but eventually go MASSIVE! there is another set on the top and a load of nice jumps with berms before so you can keep your speed. If your a dirt jumper or play rider go here it kicks ass. If your a downhiller it is good but just to small and short.

Recommended Route:
Don't know any routes unfortunately.

Summary:
Been doing Delamere for over 5 years now, the trick is to leave the firebreaks and use all of the little hidden singletrack. Plenty of technical stuff / fun to be had. Sandy climb up to the top of the BMX jumps gets your legs burning. We do around 12 miles in 2 hours with plenty of time spent at the two bombholes.
Best if you go with someone who knows their way around.

Recommended Route:
Approx 12 miles starting at Carrier's Inn, big loop mainly singletrack with some nice technical bits.

^^ What he said!, I love it, I have been doing delamere reguarly for 2 years and love all the single track and routes, but you wiont find them by yourself. turn up at 10 on a sunday and ask other bikers if they maind you tailing along, normally its pretty friendly.
there is a scary downhill caouse from the radio masts to the carpark (suicidel in teh wet mud) should be ok in the summer tho.

if you insist on riding yourself, stick to the outside of teh forest and go round clockwise. stay off the fire roads and on teh single track...its lovely.

also recommended for a night ride!.

I wish the sad pond life scum writing supposed reviews??? would get a life and leave the forum alone for the real people that count and have a real interest in the trails instead of the losers that only come to get stoned and to kill even more brain cells (If that is possible!)
