Mainly woodland, off road humps/hollows on clay. Technical stuff, big air jumps, and very steep downhill sections. Also paths for leisurely rides.

Summary:
So far this wood has claimed a broken neck and collarbone for Two of the team. But we still return ,the jumps are wild and there are loads of tricky "catch you out bits" to keep even the most experianced riders on there toes. There is a bit of pushing up hills reqd but the short adrenalin rush downs are worth it.Overall an ideal good fun location.Do not be put off by the air bandits mostly we have found everyone pretty laid back and happy to give a few helpful tips.We plan a full team return in the easter break.

Recommended Route:
Turn right when you hit the sandy tracks and you wil find the start of a good muck about area.

Summary:
a small wood on a sandy hillside, I ride it most weeks in winter as a night ride. Not paricularly challenging, but usually dry. Ok for an hours blast but not really worth more than a twenty minute drive. No facilities and a good chance the local gypsies will break into your car!

Recommended Route:
make your own up!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
go to leith hill or cannock chase, better still cyb or byc.

Summary:
Tracks: there's a good dual slalom that's getting a 4ft start ramp built on. if you explore the woods then you might find a few decent hidden tracks.
jumps: the dual slalom has some great single jumps but the single track has some killer gaps to fly over. (don't stack!)
terrain: mainly mud but there is some clay and sand. the ground is bumpy but the dual slalom is very smooth! At the free ride area there some great drops and jumps. watch out for tree roots though!

Recommended Route:
go through dead mans cross heading away from bedford. at the first cross roads turn right and then pull in at the parking.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
none that i know of!
