This is the best technical riding area in England folks. Trails are literally flipping everywhere - and they're ALL good. I've spent years exploring this (relatively small) area and am still discovering funky new bits. I will gladly e-mail people routes and info if you so wish (include your ability, preferred length and technicality of ride please!). Or you may like to visit a website I co-run which should have by now detailed trail maps dedicated to this area. It's our fave place, y'see! Ignore 'Trail Type' info - this place has everything you could think of (ie MTBR.com didn't have a detailed enough trail type box to tick!)

Summary:
Due to the site linked above using copyrighted maps the Calderdale pages have been removed. Sorry about that. However a new site has started up where you can request info on any area in the UK and then be sent a ride in that area within a week. All for free. It's a bit like Napster but swapping trails instead of songs. The address is:
