An excellant DH course. Well built and well-maintained by the chaps at Goldtec/Dragon DH. Try walking up the course itself first to find the top, otherwise you'll risk getting lost on the fireroads.

Trail Directions
From Neath follow the heads of the valley road towards Glyn-neath for a couple of miles. Turn off the dual carridge way on to the smaller B-road by the side. Drive along this past a big park/lake until you get to a samll left turn opposite a lay-by. Go up this road (speed bumps) and keep left (don't go right up fire road). You'll come to some abandoned buildings and the bottom of the course is hidden on the RHS side by one of them. Check out website for trail maps.

Summary:
Long, very hard and very steep DH that's well worth the slog to the top. If you don't fancy going right to the top you're lucky as the bottom section's probably the best - fast and yet still technical. The whole trail is excellantly built, though it can get stupidly muddy in wet weather - that's something that should get better as time goes on though and the trail is worked on a bit more by the chaps at Goldtec. This is definately one of the best stretches of DH trail I've ever ridden.
