Cross Country Rider Summary: Good fun trail, with an excellent downhill section - big berms, jumps etc. Not very technical - plenty fast though. Recommended Route: Just follow the markers! Other recommended trails in the same area: Dalbeatie

Weekend Warrior Summary: As part of the Seven Stanes projects the original route has been lengthened and upgraded. While the new parts take away some of the natural singletrack they add to the experience. Plenty of fast flowing downhill and uphill slogs with just enough technical frippery to keep it interesting. The "bad step" is probably the most technical part of track in the existing Seven Stane Routes (although it pales in comparison with Moab). Overall great track and well supported by Rik and Tally. Recommended Route: Red Route Other recommended trails in the same area: Ask the locals for the more natural trails that have been bypassed by the new route (The pipeline and double drops are sweet)

, from Ayrshire Summary: Rode this for the fiest time today, after a good review in MBUK magazine. Starts at rik's bike shed. (Drop in and ask rik for a map {50 pence} great shop for spares etc) Exellent route consisting of 95% singletrack including fast technically downhill sections millions of roots/rocky terrain jumps/drop offs there is a class demanding log jump and a steep rocky downhill with drop off. I will definitely be back here again, more naturally terrained single track than that of glentress which in my opinion makes this win hands down. If you like fast, flowing, twisty, single track with roots, rocky sections, some jumps and drop offs then this is mountain bike heaven. Recommended Route: Red route 11 miles of single track heaven. Other recommended trails in the same area: New red route (not yet completed) at dalbeattie forest, and excellent trails at glentress peebles.
