Summary:
start from Tremalzo (village) and mount to the passo nota from there you can descent to limone all in once without taking an asphalted way to get back to the village you go to riva del garda following the busy and dangerous main road.
Just before you arrive in the village you'll have an easy climb on you're left side that leads you back to your startpoint via an tremendous panoramic asphalted road that is prohibited for other traffic

Recommended Route:
I did the tremalzo descent by car and found it was gourgious but a bit too easy for biking, when we arrived at passo nota we took our bikes to do the trial part by passo nota which is rather fantastic

Other recommended trails in the same area:
passo nota

Summary:
I went to Italy a few years ago as I had heard Garda area was good for biking. We drove down from the UK and it took bloody ages. The area is beautiful, but it certainly isn't a mecca for biking. We stopped off in Les Gets on the way home and that is a proper mountain bike place. If you're more of a windsurfer then Garda is great - and if you like Germany even better, as you don't feel like you're in Italy when you're here. The Tremalzo DH is probably the "best" thing we did, took a shuttle to the top and biked down but you left thinking "if only...." Miles of easy firetrack, followed by a short section of good singletrack, followed by a mental section of steep drops etc followed by more firetrack followed by road....a long way for such short sections of good riding We also went up to one of the ski resorts further north - that was a waste of mtb time.

Stick to France - they know how to set an area up for mountain biking!
