Lisi Lake

Average Rating:    (2 of 5)

The trails around Lisi Lake are all jeep trails with a few cow trail exceptions. Start at the parking lot where all of the girls are learning to drive. There are multiple ways up the hill. Take the left side or right, the jeep trails criss cross the hillside, so variety is not hard to achieve. Once you ride up the hill you can continue up to the top ridge or drop down one of the roads to the bottom valley. If you drop into the valley ride the road out until a connector road heads up and over the ridgeline. Then you can ride through the upper valley back toward the power poles which is near the top of the first climb. There are too many options to describe them all. Have fun, and get saddle time in.

This trail consists of jeep trails all over the hillside. The riding here is fun through the trees. It can be ridden by all levels. Some of the down hill and climbing sections can difficult but they are short and not very frequent. The big problem is all of the trash, this place would be great if it was cleaned up. Rides can very from 5 to 15 miles depending on how creative you are and how far you go. Watch out for the herds of sheep and cows. Only one small dog has given chase, only because it is fun.

Recommended Route:
Head up from the parking lot and pick any route that meets your needs. If I want to climb a lot I go up the east side, if I want a mellow ride up I will go the west side. I normally go up and down the three different levels for the downhill sections and I like the loose rocky climbs. For Tbilisi, at least it is saddle time.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Turtle Lake, lots of good climbing and fast downhills, good for FS bikes.
