Freeride Boogie Man in the Netherlands

Some nice drops, tabletop, steep sections, some nice corners, can be very quik but also slow at some points. You can go for some different trails up there, and they always whil change. So it keeps rockin' and keeps gettin' extremer.

Trail Directions
Drive to the ski slope were you can take lessons, for skiing and snowboarding. If you are there go through the gate at the right side, then go directly up the hill, follow the black stoney trail, all the way when you can choose you'll have togo left up the hill you probably can't ride it, so you'll hav to walk up, follow it all the way, at a certain point you'll be able to go right our straight ahead, go straight after that. And not right, then you'll find some white skulls follow the trail of the white skulls and get killed while ridin' it.

Summary:
i drove it with my hardtail and took every jump, which resulted in a big adrenaline flood!! Unfortunately it isn`t possible to build longer trails in the Netherlands. This trail is good...very technical: in every bend you have to look at the one that will follow!!!Big jumps etc!

Recommended Route:
The DH trail at the hidden area of the mountain...follow the skulls!!

Summary:
Can agree with Martin Bentley's review of this route as I accompanied him on the whole route. The BIG Downhill next to the ski slope is VERY SCARY and not for the faint hearted - make sure you have some kind of body armour on for it. Rest of the trail is kind of level but covers some interesting areas of woodland and scenery (if you like that sort of thing).

Recommended Route:
Start at the beginning in Landgraaf - not half way through like others have done before.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Like martin said, join all of the BrunssumHeide routes together and the Landgraaf one and you have one hell of a circuit.

Summary:
Some good climbs on route, and a few good downhills especially the one that comes down next to the ski slope. Some boring sections of road and cycle path linking the various woodland runs, overall though a good ride (better when riden with rodebeek and brunssumhiede routes (they are all interlinked) then it becomes a bit of a 50k one lap challenge!!!)
The routes are well maintained hence the small charge, and give a challenge to even the experiened rider in some places. Personally though admittedly not an expereinced rider, I have had a few nasty spills, but still can't get enough of the routes!!

Recommended Route:
Several points at which you can enter, maps available from the brunssumhiede visitors centre (when you pay the 10DG (3) charge for using the south limburg routes) then just follow the arrow signs (two dots and a triangle)

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Brunssumhiede and rodebeek(red river) routes

Summary:
A Hard Route

Recommended Route:
I took note of your directions and had a look whilst I was completing the CABOONLANDROUTE. Unfortunately to say, you have only covered a small piece of a long track - The Landgraaf Route which is part of 3 routes from the Brunssum Heide Route. Go to the Discovery Bike Club (Landgraaf) as they look after the routes www.mtbclub-discovery.com (available in English).
