A huge area of sand mountains created when building a tunnel underneath the Schelderiver. We built a dirt-jumpcourse featuring banked turns, 7m doubles, tables and bmx-type rythms.

Summary:
You'll find a great dual circuit, with some great jumps. A small area for XC-racing (circa 5 km), but the tracks are very good, certainly in this area. There are some steep downhills, but not really high. The best spot in the flat area near Antwerp

Recommended Route:
Highway E-19 (Antwerp-Brussels), take exit "Kontich". Turn left when you're from Antwerp, from Brussels, turn right. Turn left at the second traffic lights. Follow this road until the first bridge. Before the bridge, you'll see a small road on your right. If you follow this road, you'll be at the entrance.

Summary:
Plenty of downhills, some are very technical. "Downhill path": almost 1 km of downhill (so high speed), with 2 jumps. Dual circuit (500m) with 3 big and 4 small jumps. Technical paths for XC, e.g. "bospadje". Ask the local bikers for information.

Recommended Route:
E-19, exit Kontich, second lights left, just before the bridge is the entrance on your right

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Herentals

Summary:
Maybe nothing compared to jump spots in England, California or BC Canada, but hey, this is Belgium!
And for this flat area, it's the best offroad training you can get. Enjoy!

Recommended Route:
From city centre go to ring and cross highwaybridge. Take Prins Boudewijnlaan and follow until Ter Eyken tennisfields at Edegem. Follow small newpaved road until you see sand mountains! Go and explore: if you keep on going till the end, you will find our jump-spot!!!
