Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail can be suited to all sorts of riders as there are a couple of ways up and even more ways to decend wheather you want to flow thru the decent or hammer it!! Stay away from the cliff walk due to many walkers and be causious of hillwakers on this trail too. A fair amount of the overall area is either rocky or filled with roots which can be a bit hairy in the winter. Some gorse can also be an obsticle but it's normally best to trash thru it. The climb in dry conditions can be a nice tester and fairly tricky. Recommended Route: The route that i take more often is the following:
Take the entrance beside the golf course on the begining of the bray to greystones road. Carry on up along the side of the golf course. Follow the trails up to the open green area where you'll see a couple of donkey's. Go up the grassy hill climb. That's your warm up!!
Now see how far you can get up the rocky gorse trail, normally you'll have to walk for a few min's. When you that over that you follow the rest of the trail up towards the cross (which really just extends your downhill) or switch a left and dash thru some gorse where you'll find a 15ft trunk on the ground. You can start your decent there if you're not familar with it or go further to the right (direction of the sideside) where it's grassy. It starts very quickly and you'll need to have your brakes tweaked for this. Its a rapid decent with some nasty rocks and trees. Avoid the steps at the bottom and swing a right and get ready for 6ft drop at the very end. It's a sweet back garden for us locals!! Other recommended trails in the same area: Djouce, Ballinstoe, Glen of the Downs, Glendalough, Ledmines and of course Treerock....

, from greystones Summary: For your own safety and that of the poor walkers, stay off this route. It is frequented by far too many pedestrians all day, rain and shine. It will only give mountain bikers a bad name. Recommended Route: Greystones to Bray

, from Dublin Summary: Uphill is a struggle, but downhill is sweet!. The only thing that you have to consider is people walking and a drop of a about a hundred feet. This track is great in the summer as its dry and the grip is superb, in the winter or when it rains (most days)the downhill can be tricky.
Recommended Route: Start from the carpark midway on the hill and work your way up and then follow to the base of the harbour. Also try a detour through St Annes Park. Other recommended trails in the same area: You could also try St Annes Park which is not to far from Bray, it is great for jumping and if you enjoy dodging tree trunks its heaven (Helmet essential).
