Summary:
Montferland is one of the aerias in the NL where the terrain is definitely not flat. The hills are not high, but there are many of them, and this rout lets you climb many of `m.
The trail is used a lot, and thus pretty worn. Three ziljon treeroots with holes in between them make it hard to maintain momentum. When you are feeling OK and want to ride hard you can carry on some speed over these stutterbumps, but once you are tired it gets hard. Because the trail is used heavily there are many mudpuddles. Maybe the trailbuilders should give it some maintainance. It is ideal for training your CC skills and fitness. I would not recommend it for a family ride, and maybe the trailbuilders can make some loops to a caf or restaurant for cappucino and pie...

Recommended Route:
Highway A-12 from Arnhem to Oberhausen. Leave the A-12 at the junction to Beek. Just pass through Beek, shortly after you left Beek you will find a parking place. This is one of the starting points of the route.
