on the ski resort of Troodos, near the f****n english radar there are many excellent trails in a nice forest Other recommended trails in the same area:

Overall is a very good, relaxed trail. Having said that, is not a boring one. There are good stretches of climb/descent and plenty of bends. Especially at the beginning, first two Km, the climb is tough. Recommended Route:
OK, this is actually an "Errata Corrige".
The nearest town is Kakopetria, not Platres.
Also the access to the trail is on the Kakopetria - Prodromos road, not Platres - Prodromos road
