, from Council Bluffs, IA, USA Summary: Some of the trails can get really intense with some technical long uphills and very difficult and fast downhills. Recommended Route: Fly into Terceira island, The Azores. From the airfield just ride to Praia and ask for Barbosa. He is the island trailmaster. Other recommended trails in the same area: There are too many to mention. I was there 2yrs. and still never saw the whole island. The island is great for mountain bikers. All the locals are really great, especially the island guide Barbosa. If you have the opportunity to go to Terceira, don't pass it up. It will be the best mountain biking experience you will ever have. I have lots of pictures to prove it.

, from Navarre, FL, USA Summary: The trails on this rock are awsome. Agualva can chew you up and spit you out if you let it. I have put over a 800 miles on that rock and loved it. There are areas of the trails that would put a hurt on and challenge the pro's. If you can ride this rock, you can ride anywhere in the world. It has been almost two years since I rode there, and I miss it. It is hard to beat. Recommended Route: Same as the others of the RAD (Road And Dirt) crew. Other recommended trails in the same area: Just pick one. There are more trails than I could count in two years. AWSOME rides! This place is a unknown jewel of mountain biking. If you get stationed here, ride! You will love it. Get Jose to show you around. As Frank Pain would say, "Keep the rubber side down and spin on".
